Are you wondering what the importance of Saisons are? Probably not, but if you are, Saisons are the original summer brew. You’ll learn about the humble beginnings of this style while tasting some of the very best, most rare, and unexpected versions being produced today.

This exclusive tasting will consist of seven different Saisons and will be accompanied by small bites of complimentary summer foods from Birch & Barley’s Executive Chef Kyle Bailey and Pastry Chef Tiffany MacIsaac.

Description 5 Courses – 5 Beers. $65 plus tax/gratuity.

First Course: Kegotank, VA Oysters on the Half Shell Troegs Pale Ale.

Second Course: Oysters “Alexandria” Dragon Creek, VA Oysters w/ “Rugged Trail” Sabayon, Baby Spinach and Smoked Bacon Troegs Rugged Trail Ale.

Third Course: Oysters Milanese Breaded oysters on a Bed of Baby Arugula Troegs HopBack Amber Ale. Fourth Course: Pork and Oyster Roulade Duroc Pork stuffed with Oysters & Prosciutto w/ a Plum Gastric Troegs Troegenator Double Bock.
